Edmond Santa Fe Wolves varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-1 victory over Putnam City North on Monday. The game was tied at one with Santa Fe batting in the bottom of the fifth when Sydney Adkins singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Putnam City North fired up the offense in the second inning, when Kat Bean hit a solo homer.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Lady Wolves tied things up at one when Madi Peters singled scoring one run.

The Lady Wolves put up three runs in the sixth inning. Edmond Santa Fe bats were led by Allie Cox and Adkins, all driving in runs in the frame.

Liz Carter got the win for the Lady Wolves, as she surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings and striking out five and walking zero.

Peters led Santa Fe with three hits in four at bats.
