On Friday, September 6, the boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Putnam City North to compete in the Panther All North Cross Country meet. Both the boys and the girls brought home 1st place trophies, continuing to build on their success from the week before.

On the girl's side, Britton Russell won the race with a time of 20:15. 5 of the 7 runners placed in the top 20 to bring home the team trophy.

For the boys, Wolves Max Wheeler took 2nd place and Martin Samwell took 6th, to lead the charge. Cameron Barron, Cole McElmeel, and Connor Mayfield all placed in the top 20. It was also a positive outing for the boys JV squad as they placed 3rd as a team in the event.

The next event for both squads is the Norman meet on Sept. 21, hosted by Norman high school.
