The Santa Fe girls picked up three big wins last week heading into the final couple of weeks before playoffs, starting off with a 48-41 victory against Mount St. Mary on Tuesday night.
Friday night they came away with a dominant 53-16 win over Southmoore. Jayda Holiman had a big game scoring 16 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Kashell Daughty had 11 points while both Jerney Bennett and Maggie Rasmussen chipped in 8 points a piece.
The lady wolves turned right around Saturday afternoon to face Norman North (#8), a makeup-game from postponement earlier in the year. The game was tied 16-16 going into halftime, but the wolves came out on top 44-38. Freshman Forward Jerney Bennett almost recorded a triple double with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 blocks. Senior Guard Kashell Daughty had 14 points and Sophomore Jayda Holiman had 6 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds.
Next up the team has two home games this week facing Edmond North on Tuesday night and Edmond Memorial Friday night. Go Wolves!
