The rain could not keep the Wolves Boys soccer team from taking the field for the last time this season, but the Wildcats from Piedmont ended the Wolves' season short of the playoffs with a 3-1 loss.
Before last night, the Wolves had gone 2-1 with some close games being played and things just clicking on offense. However, with a final season record of 4-9, the Wolves did not qualify for the playoffs this season--and will look to regroup next year.
The girls lost in the previous game 1-0 versus the Wildcats, but will play their first round game in the playoffs against Deer Creek, at DC High School, on May 2nd. The time is to be determined.
