Demontre “Tre” Hurst enters his seventh year of coaching and serves as an Assistant Football Coach, Track Coach, and a MAAS Science Teacher at Edmond Santa Fe High School. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Coach Hurst was a two-time All-Big 12 defensive back for the Sooners while achieving All Big 12 Academic honors as well before continuing his career at the highest level, playing six seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. 

Beyond the high school level, Coach Hurst serves as a Youth Football Program Director and Speed & Strength Development Coach, where he is committed to developing athletes through relationships, championship standards, and competitive greatness on the field, in the classroom and in life.
