Coach Hanson has coached for 11 years and has been the head girls tennis coach for 5 years at Santa Fe. The 2023 season is his first season at SFHS as head coach for the girls.

He is a graduate, with honors, of UCO with bachelor's in History Education. Hanson also coached Boys and Girls Tennis at Heartland (MS) and qualified the girls to the JH Elite Tournament for first time in school history. As a player (Ardmore HS), he is a two time State Champion in high school and All State doubles player. Coach Hanson is also a USTA certified Coach as well as a member of the Oklahoma Tennis Coach Association.
