The Santa Fe Wolves hosted Deer Creek on Tuesday night for Homecoming but went home with a disappointing loss 48-53.
The boys just could not get going offensively. The lone bright spot for the team was co-captain Jaylen O'Conner who finished with 24 points, including 6 of the team's 10 three point makes in the contest. He also held his man, and former SF teammate Zac Trethaway, who is a major contributor to the Antlers offense, to zero points.
It doesn't get any easier for the Wolves as they go to the Jenks/Union Tournament in Tulsa this weekend. They open with a very good Holland Hall team Thursday night in Union's John Q. Hammons Arena at 5:30. Time to get back on track!
