The Santa Fe boys team played their final regular season game at Memorial on Friday night and lost 64-69. This was the fourth Edlam game against the Bulldogs this season (1-3). The Wolves jumped out to an early 16-4 lead but Memorial closed it to 16-14 by the end of the first period. The home team then outscored our boys 25-39 over the middle two periods. Santa Fe put up a good fight in the fourth quarter and outscored their opponents 23-16 but it was too little, too late. Jaylen O'Conner once again led the team with 17 points on the night, Ben Smith poured in 13 and Donovan Vickers had 11. The team finished the season with an 18-5 record, ranked #3 in class 6A. Santa Fe will now host Regionals this Friday night. At 6:30, Edmond North will play Putnam City. The Wolves will play against US Grant at 8:00pm. Come out and show your support!
