The Wolves hosted Regional play last Friday and Saturday night. On Friday, Santa Fe played U.S. Grant and won easily 64-42. Jaylen O'Conner led the team with 16 points and Donovan Vickers put in 14.

On Saturday the team played Putnam City for the Regional Championship. The Wolves led by 2 after the first quarter, then found themselves down by 3 at halftime. After three quarters our boys were again up by 2. However, Santa Fe was outscored by the Pirates 20-24 in the final period to fall 66-68. Kristian Khoury led the way with 17 points, Donovan Vickers added 16 and Ben Smith poured in 13.

The team now moves to Area and two must-win games this weekend. On Friday, the Wolves will play Deer Creek at Yukon High School starting at 8 pm. If they win, they will play the loser of the Edmond Memorial vs. Midwest City game on Saturday at Mustang High School. Go Wolves!
