Edmond Santa Fe took Monday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 9-8 walk-off victory over Deer Creek. The game was tied at eight with Santa Fe batting in the bottom of the seventh when Conner Stevens singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Both offenses were strong at the plate as the Wolves collected 11 hits and Deer Creek seven in the high-scoring affair Deer Creek got things moving in the first inning. Ethan Boyer was hit by a pitch, driving in a run. Santa Fe knotted the game up at eight in the bottom of the sixth inning. Blake Robertson drove in two when he homered. After Deer Creek scored one run in the top of the fifth, the Wolves answered with one of their own. Edmond Santa Fe Wolves Varsity then answered when Dondi King doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Edmond Santa Fe scored four runs in the third inning. Cayden Brumbaugh and Ryan Lowery each had RBIs in the big inning. Stevens got the win for Santa Fe . He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and walking one. Piercen McElyea took the loss for Deer Creek. He went six innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out nine. Braden Reichert started the game for the Wolves. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out three Santa Fe launched one home run on the day. Robertson went yard in the sixth inning. The Wolves tallied 11 hits. King, Brumbaugh, Lowery, and Dominic Johnson each collected multiple hits for Santa Fe . King went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Edmond Santa Fe Wolves Varsity in hits. Jack Hill led Deer Creek with two hits in four at bats. Deer Creek didn't commit a single error in the field. Jordan Coffey had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team. #3 led Deer Creek with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.
