It was a team effort at the plate for the Lady Wolves softball team (5-6) as they took home a win in a 11-8 against Midwest City Bombers who fell to 3-7 with the loss.
For the Lady Wolves, Bailey Fowler was 3 for 3 at the plate with an RBI and Allie Cox was clutch going 2 for 4 with 4 RBI's of her own. Madi Peters went 2 for 4 with a walk and Chloe White continues to be strong at the plate and went 2 for 4 with an RBI as well.
On the mound, Liz Carter went the distance and pitched all 7 innings and closed out the game with 3 strikeouts and only allowing 1 walk and 3 earned runs.
The next game for the Lady Wolves will be Friday at home verses Westmoore. JV will start at 5:00 pm and the Varsity will play after at 6:30 pm.
