After barely passing the 30-point mark in Friday night's win over Moore, last night's offensive production for the boys presented an entirely different result in the 65-38 win over Mustang.

A familiar zone defense was presented to the offense, but last night's execution of the offense would be Mustangs demise. Sophomore Michael Reeves, stretched out the Mustang 2-3 zone defense with 5 3-pointers on the night... 3 of which gave the Wolves a little "pick-me-up" in the first quarter. Reeves led all scorers with 19 points. Senior JVon Hutchison came off the bench, for injured Reeves, and continued the hot hand at the point guard position by contributing 10 points of his own.

In the second quarter, however, only 15 total points were scored by the two teams as the defenses were clamping down on second-chance attempts.

Coming out of halftime, head coach Troy Lallemand's team came out aggressive once again and attacked the zone defense. Donovan Vickers' 11 points and the offensive rebounding and play of junior Colby Onyekuru (7 points) were instrumental in distancing the wolves from the broncos in the second half.

Other scorers for the wolves include: Talyn Shettron (7 points), Ethan Lacks (4 points), Tabry Shettron (4 points), Joe Adams (2 points), and Kristian Baccus (1 point).

The wolves will use this momentum to travel up the turnpike to participate in the Jenks/Union Tournament set for this weekend.
