Friday's game against Choctaw was a heart breaker for Edmond Santa Fe Wolves, as they lost the lead late in a 10-5 defeat. The game was tied at four with Choctaw batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored two runs for Choctaw.
Santa Fe took an early lead in the second inning when Cooper Jenson singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Brewer toed the rubber for Choctaw. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out eight.
Morgan Lunceford started the game for the Wolves . He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out eight. River Boudreau and Nixon Petit entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.
Cayden Brumbaugh led Edmond Santa Fe with two hits in three at bats.
Choctaw racked up seven hits. Harris, Jackson, and Leclaire all had multiple hits for Choctaw.
