Beckam Hartis, Sr., Piedmont: He led Piedmont to a victory at the Class 5A regional in Norman, placing first with a time of 16:11.68.
Riley Randall, So., Meeker: He had a convincing victory at the Class 3A regional in Chisholm and finished in 16:24.80.
Gabe Simonsen, Sr., Mustang: The Oklahoman’s 2018 All-City Runner of the Year will attempt to win his third consecutive Class 6A state title. He helped Mustang capture the regional championship in Sand Springs, winning with a time of 15:53.95.
Kenneth Weber, So., Community Christian: He led CCS to a win at the Class 4A regional in Chisholm. Weber finished in 16:09.21 for the individual title.
Girls
Michaela Carney, Fr., Mount St. Mary: She placed 10th at the Class 5A regional in Sand Springs, finishing in 20:18.66.
Audrey Hill, So., Edmond Santa Fe: The Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Runner of the Year won the Class 6A regional in Norman, finishing in 19:23.79.
Helen Park, Sr., Heritage Hall: She won the Class 3A regional in Chisholm, completing the 2-mile run in 12:42.09.
Jade Robinson, Sr., Norman North: She led the Timberwolves to a first-place finish at the Class 6A regional in Norman. Robinson placed third with a time of 19:27.89.
Madi Surber, Jr., Tuttle: She edged fellow Tuttle runner Hallie Ann Sheffield for the Class 4A regional title in Waurika. Surber completed the 2-mile race in 11:51.02, and Sheffield finished in 11:52.43.
