November 11 is Veterans Day, a time to honor our veterans. This year to show appreciation for veterans, the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) has designated the first round of football playoffs on Friday, November 13th as Veterans Appreciation Day. All veterans, active duty or not, and one guest will receive free admission to any high school playoff game. Along with free admission, schools plan to honor veterans by having them stand during half time. If you are a veteran or know one and plan to attend the playoffs simply show your Military ID card, or driver’s license that shows your military status at the gate.
