The Santa Fe boys (#14) came up with a big win against #6 Choctaw Tuesday night at Santa Fe. The Yellowjackets fought to the end, but the Wolves held on 47-45.

The team was led by senior forward Colby Onyekuru with 13 points, 7 rebounds while junior center Tabry Shettron added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Talyn Shettron played in his first game of the season and contributed 11 points in the effort.

Head Coach Troy Lallemand commented on his team's performance after the game, "I'm so proud of how our guys fought and competed throughout the game. The schedule has been tough all year and we earned this win against a very good Choctaw team. Hopefully we can build on it."

Santa Fe heads to Tulsa Union next to take on Mustang in the Jenks-Union Invitational. Tipoff is Thursday night 5:30 at Union.
