This last weekend, the boys and girls track teams traveled up to the University of Kansas for a weekend meet in Jayhawk country. Both the boys and the girls teams took several medals and even took a Kansas Relay meet RECORD.
The 4x200m Relay team, consisting of Nia Moore, Zoey Battles, Zoelie Deaton, and Emmanuella Njenje took first place in the relay and taking first in the record category.
Also placing in the meet were the following:
Boys:
2nd place in the Sprint Medley Relay (Cade Nelson, Elijah Phillips, Foster Penhall, and Jack Sydnes)

Girls:
4x100m Relay - 3rd place (Nia Moore, Zoey Battles, Zoelie Deaton, LaNiyah Curry)
4x200m Relay - 1st place and Kansas Relay meet record (Nia Moore, Zoey Battles, Zoelie Deaton, Emmanuella Njenje)
100m Dash - 1st place - Emmanuella Njenje
100m Dash - 6th place - Zoey Battles
1600m Run - 5th place - Natalie Duggan
3200m Run - 4th place - Natalie Duggan
