Wolves welcome new head coach to baseball program

On June 5th, the EPS school board approved the hiring of Kris Webb as the new head baseball coach of Santa Fe High School.

Coach Webb is an alumnus of Fargo Public Schools. After high school, Kris played college baseball at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid, Oklahoma. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education.

Kris has coached baseball in Northwest Oklahoma for over 15 years and has won over 400 games in his high school career, with multiple state tournament appearances. He is currently the Region 1 Rep for the OBCA as well as an active board member for the organization. Kris also serves on the OSSAA Baseball Advisory Committee. He is an active member of the ABCA.

Kris has won 3 Connie Mack State Championships. He coached the undefeated Connie Mack World Series Champions, the Enid Majors. He has coached 7 All State players. In addition, he has helped countless numbers of players earn scholarships to extend their baseball careers after high school.

Kris is extremely excited to lead the Wolves. He is most excited on the task of development and growth of this storied baseball program here at Edmond Santa Fe. Kris has a beautiful family that includes his wife Megan and their four children Natalee (16), Lexi (11), Rawlings (5), and Rookie (4). He and his family know how blessed they are to be in such a supportive baseball community and are excited to bring their passion and love to the Pack for many years to come!
