One of the most decorated Oklahoma State defenders is headed to Mobile.

Collin Oliver accepted his invite to the 2025 Senior Bowl, the showcase announced Thursday. This means that he will be foregoing a fifth season in Stillwater as a redshirt.

Having impacted the Cowboy program since arriving in 2021, Oliver has racked up 134 total tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, 23.5 sacks, seven pass break ups, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He is a three-time second team All-Big 12 selection and was named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year after the 2021 season.

Oliver was on track to have a solid final season at Oklahoma State before suffering a season-ending lower leg fracture in the first half of the Arkansas game.

An Oklahoma native, Oliver will be walking at Senior Day next weekend when the Cowboys host Texas Tech. Oklahoma State's game at Tulsa this year was the first game Oliver did not play in since he stepped on campus, ending a streak of 43-straight appearances.

Over his career, Oliver was used along the defensive line and also played stand-up linebacker. He was effective anywhere he played.

"I don't know what I see myself as," Oliver said this spring. "Linebacker, defensive lineman, I'll play anything. I'll tell you I love playing edge rusher and that's probably my favorite position."

One of the most standout plays of his four-year career came in Year One when he had a game-clinching sack to defeat Oklahoma in the 2021 Bedlam game.

"Collin is a pure Cowboy," head coach Mike Gundy said of Oliver before the season began. "He loves Oklahoma State. He's been tremendous for us. By the time he's finished, he'll have more than one degree. He does well in school. He's got tremendous social skills. He's a great ambassador for the university."

Oliver finishes his Cowboy career as the program leader in QBH with 33, fourth in tackles for loss with 40.5 and fifth in career sacks with 23.5 sacks.

"I mean, obviously he's so diverse, and he'll do anything he needs to do," linebacker Jeff Roberson said of Oliver earlier this season. "But like I said, going to get the quarterback like he did (against South Dakota State) Saturday, was impressive. And, you know, obviously played linebacker last year, you know, moved back down to his leo or what not and did his job really incredible."

The Oklahoma City kid will look to be the first Oklahoma State defender drafted since 2023. The Senior Bowl will take place Feb. 1, 2025 in Mobile, Alabama where representatives from all 32 NFL teams will be in attendance to scout the mo... Click here to read full article
